shutter 2008
A public art commission for the new Arts Tasmania Offices in Hobart. The work, spreading over 8 metres along the rear wall of the office, is a series of lightboxes clad in recycled louvre doors and coated in layers of 50mm aluminium venetian blinds.
Throughout the day, the light boxes fade in and out, in a show that gives desk-bound office dwellers a sense of the passing of time.
